Fly Horseshoe Bend
On the typical road trip through the American Southwest, after you pack your suitcase, you’ll need to “unpack” your adjectives! Words like “amazing,” “huge,” “rugged,” and “isolated” are just some of the ways this iconic landscape is described. Many come to the realization that just admiring landmarks like Horseshoe Bend from the ground only scratches the surface. To appreciate its complexity, its remoteness, and the sheer dimensions of the surrounding landscape, you have to get up above it – you have to fly!
It's for Everyone!
Viewing Horseshoe Bend by air is truly a bucket-list experience, but it’s also a great choice for people who are concerned about the hike to Horseshoe Bend. Yes, the trail is completely paved now, but there is little shade and the sun is hot and unforgiving. If you’ve got people on your trip who can’t handle the sun, a flight is a no-stress option that can include everyone!
View Glen Canyon by Helicopter!!!
The Papillon pilots and crew are, of course, certified and highly qualified professionals, but they also love the area and can answer your questions as you soar above skyscraper-like buttes and winding canyons. You’ll see Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, the dam and the Colorado River!
There are two flight options to take you over Horseshoe Bend. Either one you choose, you’ll meet your pilot and crew at the Page Municipal Airport 30 minutes before your flight.
