DON’T MISS YOUR TOUR!!!
You’ve been planning this vacation for months and now it’s time to enjoy the American Southwest! You’ve gotten your pics at Horseshoe Bend and now you’re ready to go on a tour of Antelope Canyon, or maybe you’re planning to do a backhaul kayaking trip along the Colorado River. These tours with family and friends will be treasured memories for years to come. But it can all be thwarted by one thing…
Arizona Time!!!
Time really matters when you’re in a border town, and Page, Arizona’s location is particularly tricky to newcomers. You see, it is sandwiched between Utah and the Navajo Nation, both of which observe Daylight Savings Time, but Arizona does not.
This wouldn’t normally be a problem, but our Smartphones are all pre-programmed to update the time automatically when they come into range of a cell tower. So, depending on where you’re traveling within Page, you might be picking up an Arizona tower, a Utah tower, or a Navajo Nations tower.
Need an Easy Fix?
Set your phone to Arizona time!!!
All of the tours into Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons run on Arizona time because most of their customers are coming from Page, AZ. But if you book a tour in Utah or at another location on the Navajo Nation, you’re going to want to double check on the time to make sure you’re not an hour late or an hour early.
