- Horseshoe Bend is a free hike (no entrance fee); parking costs $10/vehicle paid to the City of Page
- National Park passes are NOT accepted for parking
- Trail is 0.6 miles one way, hard-packed sand — graded and ADA accessible since 2019, with cement at the viewpoint platform (it is NOT paved asphalt)
- Guardrails are limited: only the main viewing platform is fenced; most of the surrounding rim is open with no railing; 1,000-foot drop
- The entrance gate opens at sunrise and stops admitting visitors at sunset, every day of the year. No entry is possible before sunrise or after sunset. Visitors who are already inside MAY stay past sunset to finish their visit and hike out — a headlamp is recommended for the dark, unlit trail back
- GPS: US-89, Mile Marker 545 (36.8791°N, 111.5100°W)
- Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time (MST year-round)
