Rent from a variety of kayaks. Singles or XL if you're bringing some gear, like a backpack. Tandem if you're bring a lot of gear or want to get in a fight with your spouse.
Sitting gets your butt wet
Rent or bring your own paddleboard for extra room to spread out and work on your balance
Go for a swim!
Jump in the water, but keep in mind the water comes out of the dam at 47 degrees!
Find a beach and bring food
There are plenty of beaches and washes to stop and visit. Bring food, water, and plenty of sunscreen
Visit ancient petroglyphs
This quarter-mile side hike is well worth the effort. People have lived in amazing places!
Keep an eye out for animals
Ducks, herons, trout, wild horses, mountain goats are all commonly seen on this stretch of the Colorado River.

Meet your boat at Lees Ferry. where you will be transported to Glen Canyon Dam, or get off sooner for a shorter day. Your captain help you choose where to get off, and will let you know where to return your kayak/paddleboard. Don't forget to tip!
